Current Priorities

We are joining the Tokyo Alliance team! Our top priority is becoming proficient in all things Japanese. But before we get to Japan, we must pray, seek out, and connect with the local churches in Canada who will labour to pray with us. Then we pack up our lives and surrender the rest.

Vision

Father, with all our heart we pray for more Japanese people to know you and worship you. We long to see a growing network of disciple-making communities in the Tokyo area.

Bio

Jacob was saved after losing his parents to cancer. Holy Spirit spoke to Jacob in a dream and immediately poured power upon him leading to rebirth in Jesus Christ (John 3). Christina was raised in an unbelieving home that attended an Ohio Korean Presbyterian Church. Heartbreak in her final university year caused her to desperately seek the Lord and He met her. God’s transformative work filled them with a burden for cross-cultural missions. Jacob and Christina waited on the Lord. He used their marriage to sanctify and unify them in love for God, each other, and His calling. In His perfect time, God opened doors to join the Japan team. They desire for God to be worshipped, and His Kingdom boldly expanded. They desire to love their Japanese neighbours, to share the Gospel message, and grow disciple making communities wherever the Lord leads.
