Connor Browett

Churches are intentionally building into the next generation of leaders by providing opportunity for discernment, skill development, and hands on ministry experience. In partnering with the Midwest District, Prairie Alliance Church is able to expand upon these experiences through extended Leadership Development opportunities. This apprenticeship program grows participants from shadowing a variety of ministry leaders, to leading alongside them, to eventually leading under their supervision.

"I am excited to see, as I work with PAC, how my relationship with God will continue to grow and develop."

As he reflected on this opportunity, Connor wrote, "My hope is to grow in my pastoral ability while having a strong group of supportive leaders around me so I have a place to learn and grow my skills as a Campus pastor of a church in a rural community. I am hopeful that I will have the chance to learn more about my skills and gifts that God has given me, and how to develop them in beneficial ways to grow the body of Christ."

During his years at Briercrest, Connor had the opportunity to work with Indigenous youth. This experience left him with the desire to continue working towards connecting the work of reconciliation and church ministry.

Connor Browett is supported in partnership with the Midwest District and Prairie Alliance Church.

Prayer Requests

You are invited to join with Connor in praying for the following items as he leans into this season. 1. That my wife (Karis) and I will continue to find support in the community around us. 2. That during this internship phase, Karis and I would sense a clear calling towards what ministry area or campus God would desire us to be in. 3. The knowledge I gain would be used to build the Church today, and that God would use me during my internship to share His message or reconciliation.
