Job Summary and Purpose
Bayview Glen Church is seeking a warm, organized, and people-focused Hospitality Coordinator to create warm and embracing environments where people feel seen, valued, and welcomed. This role plays a key part in helping newcomers and attenders experience God's love through thoughtful, excellent hospitality.
Position Summary
The Hospitality Coordinator ensures that Sunday mornings and key church events reflect Bayview Glen Church’s value of Everybody’s Somebody by creating hospitable spaces marked by excellence, warmth, and intentional care.
Roles & Specific Responsibilities
Sunday Hospitality Experience
- Coordinate and oversee all Sunday morning hospitality elements.
- Prepare and manage food and beverage service.
- Ensure hospitality spaces are clean, inviting, and well-stocked.
Team Training & Coordination
- Recruit, train, and support hospitality volunteers.
- Schedule teams in collaboration with the Connect Coordinator.
- Lead brief team huddles that reinforce purpose and expectations.
- Ensure volunteers are equipped to SERVE with confidence and joy.
Event Hospitality
- Coordinate hospitality teams for church-wide events.
- Manage inventory and report inventory needs to Connect Director
- Ensure consistent hospitality standards across all environments.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Connect Director to align hospitality with the overall Sunday experience.
- Communicate clearly with volunteers and ministry partners.

Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, events, or volunteer leadership.
Additional Requirements
- Availability for Sundays and occasional evenings.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
