Description

Provide spiritual, pastoral and ministry leadership to a multinational church. Manage volunteers, direct elders, grow the church.

Responsibilities

1. Lead people to a personal relationship with God through the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to seek to fulfill the Great Commission.
2. Teach and preach the message of the Word of God, the Holy Bible.
3. Provide for the spiritual care and nurture of members through worship, instruction, fellowship and service. 
4. Organize and perform baptisms, weddings, baby dedications, funerals
5. Beyond leading the church, there will be expectations of being part of our local and regional team. Assist in developing our team, working to reach LRPGs in the region.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Licensed with a District of The Alliance Canada
• Mature and experienced Pastoring qualities
• Gifts in wisdom, leadership and discernment
• Self-aware, approachable, authentic heart and example
• Sensitivity and thoughtfulness for people of many cultures and denominations

Preferred Qualifications

• Seminary

Required Experience

• Experienced in performing weddings, funerals, baptisms and baby dedications
• Well versed in conducting counselling sessions

Preferred Experience

8 years’ pastoral experience required of which 3 years must have been in a similar role.
