A new venture in Abbotsford, BC!
This new venture has emerged in partnership with Surrey Vietnamese Alliance Church, Sevenoaks Alliance Church, the Canadian Pacific District, and the Association of Vietnamese Alliance Churches. Stemming from an identified need, Surrey Vietnamese Alliance Church saw an opportunity to reach and proclaim the good news of Jesus to the Vietnamese communities in Abbotsford and Fraser Valley area.
Abbotsford is the central hub for the Fraser Valley region and is home to many Vietnamese individuals who are an integral part of the region's broader cultural fabric.
The vision that is guiding this new initiative forward is to Love God and Love People. As they set out to do this they are: Relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to glorify God by: Using appropriate and effective approaches to reach the Vietnamese community in Abbotsford, leading people to Christ and welcoming them as members of God's family, helping believers grow to become more like Christ, equipping them for service within the Church, empower them to become effective and fruitful witnesses for the Lord.
This new venture has launched under the co-leadership of Minh Tran and Duyet Le.

Partnering in Prayer
For Our Sunday Worship Service:
Please pray for our Sunday worship service, that the Lord will graciously prepare every heart to come before Him with reverence, humility, and joy. Pray that all who attend—members, seekers, and visitors alike—will truly sense the holy presence of the Lord, be refreshed by His Word, and experience the transforming power of His Spirit dwelling and moving among us. Ask that every element of the service—worship, prayer, Scripture reading, preaching, and fellowship—will glorify God and edify His people.
For Our Saturday Night Cell Group Meeting:
Pray for our Saturday night cell group gathering, that the Lord will deepen our love, unity, and spiritual growth. Ask that He will teach us how to sincerely care for one another, bear each other’s burdens, encourage the fainthearted, and build one another up in faith. May our time together be marked by genuine fellowship, spiritual refreshment, and the sweet bond of love that flows from the Holy Spirit, so that our community will reflect the beauty and harmony of the body of Christ.
For Our Visitation and Outreach Team (Monday Night):
Pray for our visitation and outreach team as they go out on Monday evening. Pray that God will guide every step, grant wisdom and discernment in every conversation, and fill each member with compassion, boldness, and grace. Ask that the Lord will prepare the hearts of those they visit, making them receptive to encouragement, prayer, and the message of hope found in Christ.
For Open Doors for Evangelism and Restoration:
Pray that God, in His sovereignty and mercy, will open wide doors of opportunity for us to reach both unbelievers and believers who are not yet connected to the body of Christ. Ask that He will lead us to those whom He has prepared, soften hearts to receive the gospel, remove spiritual obstacles, and draw many into saving faith, renewed commitment, and active fellowship within His church.
