Current Priorities

Heather works alongside the Mexican Alliance church in mobilizing local churches and workers to go where Jesus is not yet known. She works in training, courses and mentoring.

Mobilize Mexico is part of a growing global movement—sending workers from everywhere to everywhere with the hope of Jesus. In Mexico, years of faithful ministry are beginning to bear fruit. With their unique cultural strengths, creativity, and resilience, Mexican believers are well-positioned to serve in places where Christ is not yet known. We need everyone at the table! Bio

Heather grew up in rural Saskatchewan where her parents were pastoring. As a child, she loved hearing about different countries and experiences around the world. She responded to an altar call at one General Assembly and the rest was history. After a couple years of Bible College, she visited Mexico City for a year. It was there that God confirmed a call to love Him in a country other than her own. Heather has been involved in church planting for fifteen years as well as in compassion ministries. Currently she works alongside the national church in missions mobilization.

Andrés grew up in Costa Rica and studied computer sciences in the US. After returning with his degree, he developed software and served in several ministries through tech support. He has also enjoyed working with a Third Culture Kid youth group for the last couple decades. He moved to Mexico City when Heather and he got married.

Heather and Andrés have two boys.
