A new venture in Drayton, ON!
Our desire is to see the people and neighbourhoods of Drayton transformed through the loving presence of Jesus lived out in everyday life.
Love Drayton exists to embody the ministry of reconciliation as we commit to be present - walking with people through the messiness and beauty of life, sharing the hope of Christ, and equip others to do the same. When appropriate we establish programs to address certain needs in partnership with the local community and other churches. Our work is holistic, addressing spiritual, social, material, and emotional needs through intentional discipleship and community building.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. (2 Cor. 5:17-19).
We serve a growing, rural Ontario community that has a strong Christian heritage, yet also experiences disconnection and spiritual hunger. The community is also physically growing! 800 new people are expected to move into Drayton over the next 2 years. Therefore, Love Drayton will intentionally walk with:
- Those who are spiritually curious but disconnected from church
- Individuals experiencing relational, emotional, or material brokenness
- Followers of Jesus who want to grow in reconciliation and mission
